


Our Story
Here at Culinaria, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2000, we’ve been promoting San Antonio as a premier food and wine destination, while fostering community growth and enrichment within the city we call home.
Culinaria is an independent, not-for-profit organization, registered 501 c (3) tax-exempt organization, committed to promoting locally sourced food and wine experiences in the San Antonio region through community events and culinary education opportunities, including Restaurant Weeks, a 5K run,
and many others.
Proceeds from events directly support culinary and education programs, enabling Culinaria to be a largely self-sustaining organization.
San Antonio Restaurant Week
Taking place in January and August, San Antonio Restaurant Week is a bi-annual celebration of the best dining in the city! More than 100 restaurants curate custom, three-course menus for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, offering menus at a set price to ensure that anyone can take advantage.
Restaurant Weeks have become Culinaria’s largest event, hosting more than 1.5 million diners across the San Antonio region. Its designation as the OG city-wide restaurant-focused event has brought national attention to some of San Antonio’s up-and-coming chef talent, and provided a financial boost to area restaurants for 15 years.
